Low Key – Gladys O.

Part of my Low Key series; the portraits are taken in such a way as to showcase the face, allowing to use the darkness to highlight the subject.

The darkness acts as a symbol for society, here we see the journey of being unknown and uncomfortable, to then embracing society and finally standing out within the society that once sought to over shadow her.
